32 Seminary Street, Middlebury, Vermont HOPE has created nearly 200 affordable housing units in Addison County since 1985.  In 2007, we partnered with the Addison County Community Trust for the management of the units created with Low Income Housing Tax Credits; the Trust is responsible for mainenance and occupancy, and HOPE performs the financial management.    In recent years, HOPE's housing development activity has become focussed on small projects designed to serve persons with disabilities and other special needs.   In planning these projects we are committed to using energy efficient building systems, environmentally friendly materials, and we pay special attention to preserving the historic details of the buildings we rehabilitate.
